One of the most interesting features of the new iPhone 4S is Siri, your speech-recognition "personal assistant". It is indeed a very useful feature but it takes some time until you get the hang of it. From the beginning we should mention that this is not an application in the iPhone sense as it isn't something that you can download from the App Store. In addition, you won't find an icon on your phone for it.

When you get your brand new iPhone 4S, Siri comes fully pre-loaded on the device but you will have to set it up before you can take full advantage of what it has to offer. As you probably know this by know, Siri doesn't process what you tell it locally on your smartphone as this software needs a 3G or a Wi-Fi signal for sending the command through a remote server. You will also have to be specific when talking to Siri because it will get confused right away if you tell it to do something general, such as "launch iTunes".
