Donate Old Cell Phones

As we use cell phones every day, and we cannot develop our daily activities without it, this might be the best invention of this century. Whenever the cell phone does not correspond to our needs, we simply change it and buy a new one, that pleases our wishes. But what happens to the old cell phones? I happen to have 4 old cell phones, because my teen spirit did not agree with stagnation of the technology. Cell phones with no camera are considered useless, although it’s been a while since I last saw someone taking a picture with a cell phone (nowadays we all have digital cameras). More than that, if an old cell phone breaks, there is this possibility when no one can fix it, because it is too old and there might be no pieces any more to be able to fix it. So, what’s to do? The possibility of selling it is out of the question, because nobody would buy it, and even if someone would buy it, the price should be very low. Keeping them is not an option, because you don’t have anything to do with them. So…I saw this program going on at different cell phones stores. If you bring old cell phones, you can get a little discount for other products, new ones. This is a great opportunity to recycle, to renew the technology area and to buy a new telephone a little bit cheaper. And this way we can do something useful with our old phones. Before the store accepts your old phone, an evaluation process is developed, so they can establish if the phone works or it’s broken or which parts can still be used to fix another cell phones. These programs are new, maybe because of the new era of trying to conserve our nature and recycle everything. I advice everyone to take this into consideration, because, as I just said, this is good for both sides. The technology offers us every time new possibilities, that’s why we always want some new stuff. Even if the new invented objects are not that resistant like the old ones. Touch screen phones that are a “must have” right now are so fragile! I would rather like to have a more resistant cell phone. But can we stany in front of fashion? A great way to get rid of the old cell phones is to donate them to people with low possibilities, because they will certain appreciate the gesture. But unfortunately, there are few locations where we can do this, and this makes us just recycle them, because it’s an affordable method. What today is considered new, tomorrow might be old, so take care what you buy!
