Vocalia is a speech recognition app for the first generation iPhone, iPhone 3G and second generation iPod Touch. To use this app with an iPod Touch you must buy an external microphone. It is very similar to Voice Control that the iPhone 3GS has. This application is made for the users that Apple left out by not implementing Voice Control on older iPhone models.

How does Vocalia work?

* Click on the Vocalia icon
* Choose between Contacts, iPod or Bookmarks
* Say a name of an artist, bookmark or contact
* You can then select the correct number (home or work) or say the name of an album or song.
