SKH Apps today is pleased to announce its frightening new app, ‘FrightBox‘. Boasting to be one of the scariest apps available on iTunes, this app combines dark, gloomy visuals, a slew of eerie sound effects and two chilling features: ‘Possessed’ mode and ‘FrightCall’. This unique iPhone app is sure to scare.
Upon opening the app, you are immediately presented with the ‘demons’ sound effects page. After pressing any of the buttons, you quickly find that these are not the ordinary, silly Halloween effects you often hear, but more on the line of sounds you would find in today’s popular horror films. Swiping the screen provides several pages of alarming sounds including zombies, ghosts, screams and more.
Along with the sound effects, you can find two special buttons on the front page. One labeled ‘Possessed’ and the other ‘FrightCall’. At first pressing the ‘Possessed’ appears to do nothing, but after a few seconds your iPhone begins randomly vibrating and spewing creepy sound effects. This continues alternating between silence and scary sounds until the button aptly labeled ‘Exorcise” is pressed. Pressing the ‘FrightCall’ button begins a short countdown timer. Once the timer runs out, a call screen opens as if you are receiving an incoming call. The phone continues to ring displaying the caller’s name as ‘devil’. Once answered, unnerving voices come through from the earpiece. The ‘FrightCall’ effect is extremely realistic and sure to surprise unsuspecting victims.
