Transdock Delux For In Car Broadcasting Of iPod Music And Videos
Digital Lifestyle Outfitters has unveiled a new addition to its TransDock family of in-car iPod entertainment systems. Using the TransDock Deluxe, iPod music can be broadcasted through a car’s FM stereo and iPod videos can be watched on in-car video systems. The TransDock Deluxe system provides superior FM transmission, AV output and a built in USB outlet.
DLO has also added a remote that can be attached to the steering wheel of a car for safe and convenient entertainment control. This remote can be attached on either side of the steering wheel. This remote also controls all TransDock functions such as changing of pre-set frequencies.
Besides offering functionality, the TransDock Deluxe system has a great design as well. For the stylish at heart, it is possible to co-ordinate the TransDock with your iPod over even with your car’s interiors as the TransDock design allows for interchangeable faceplates.
Besides, the TransDock Deluxe system even provides a choice of three LCD colors, offering the ultimate in customization.
The TransDock Deluxe system comes with a 6-foot AV cable to connect to in-car entertainment systems.
The TransDock Deluxe securely cradles and charges the iPod. It also automatically powers up when the user docks the iPod.
A USB power outlet allows one to charge cellphones, PDAs and other USB-powered devices without the need for stopping the music or video that’s playing at the moment. Also, this system includes an Aux-In that allows one to play audio from other devices such as gaming systems.
According to Rick Case, DLO’s executive vice president of sales, “The summer roadtrip season is upon us, and the TransDock Deluxe is the must-have accessory for the discerning iPod user who wants it all.”
“No other FM transmitter on the market includes such a wide array of valuable features, specifically a steering-wheel remote control. Whether you’re traveling with friends or family, the TransDock Deluxe is sure to keep everyone in the car happy – especially the driver,” he added.
The TransDock Deluxe system carries a price tag of $129.99 and will be available in most Apple stores.
