Apple has officially announced iOS 6, major update to the OS used by iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and iPod Touch, at WWDC 2012 today. iOS 6 is claimed to bring 200+ new features to iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

Some of the new iOS 6 features include Siri enhancements, Facebook integration, Phone, FaceTime and Apple ID / phone number integration, Safari, Shared Photo Streams, Mail, Passbook, Guided Access, Maps with turn-by-turn navigation and Flyover, Lost Mode, and China-specific features. We'll be covering all these features in details shortly.

iOS 6 compatible devices include:

* iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and later

* iPad 2, New iPad 3, and later

* iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G, and later

iOS 6 will be available for the above mentioned devices in the Fall, beta will be available to developers starting today. Some of the 200+ features may not be available on all the products.
