Linksys iPhone Apple Announces iOS 6 Betavailable Today

Apple has officially announced iOS 6, major update to the OS used by iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and iPod Touch, at WWDC 2012 today. iOS 6 is claimed to bring 200+ new features to iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

Some of the new iOS 6 features include Siri enhancements, Facebook integration, Phone, FaceTime and Apple ID / phone number integration, Safari, Shared Photo Streams, Mail, Passbook, Guided Access, Maps with turn-by-turn navigation and Flyover, Lost Mode, and China-specific features. We'll be covering all these features in details shortly.

iOS 6 compatible devices include:

The Google search app for the iPhone has hit version 2.0 and it now features a completely redesigned UI, full screen search and more. If you are ever asked to look up something online, it is more than likely that you will turn to Google. The Google search app is a popular free installation in iOS and this app has now been updated rather significantly to version 2.0.

The new Google Search app has had a complete visual redesign and there are some great new features that optimize and enhance what is already a great app. As with all updates there are some major speed improvements which means that the Google Search app now works at double the speed. You can also access your favorite Google apps right from the search such as Gmail, Calendar and Dcos and you also have the ability to save images straight to the camera roll which has been implemented for both iPhone and iPad users.

iTunes Facebook Makes Sharing Photos Easier With New Camerapplication

Facebook has launched a new camera app for all iOS devices. The app makes sharing and viewing multiple photos easier and quicker. FACEBOOK CAMERA features a camera shortcut so you can quickly snap pictures, and it allows you to post multiple photos instead of having to post one at a time. You can also add captions and tag your friends and location before you share.

Facebook Camera also makes viewing pictures easier by eliminating status updates in your feed. It's separate from the original Facebook application so you won't lose your normal feed once installed. Version 1.0.1 is available for free in the iTunes App Store. It's compatible with the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (4th generation), iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iPad (3rd generation) and iPad Wi-Fi + 4G. It requires iOS 4.3 or later.
