Apple Inc How To Make Good Use Of The Ios 5

Apple just does not know how to disappoint its millions of consumers all over the world. They always have wonderful products out and they never fail to address the dissatisfaction of their consumers with each new release of series or generation of smart phones. The iPhones 4 and 4s were and still are the phone to have as far as many iPhone lovers are concerned. They latter most especially has so many features that iPhone lovers around the world have been longing to have on their smart phones. Some of these features include an amazingly sharp and precise eight megapixel camera, double antennae and the all wonderful personal assistant Siri. Honestly no one should ask for more with all this on their phone but consumers seem to have a never ending for features just as Apple seems to have a never dwindling capacity to measure up.

Apple introduced the best OS that has ever been produced and the best partis that it comes absolutely free of charge. It is an OS that allows the consumer to do so many other things with their phone that cannot be done with just the phone alone. Perhaps one would wonder how hard it is to get the download to their phone and use it efficiently. It is actually very easy and requires no knowledge of software and applications. Anyone can do it as long as they can download it to their iPhone. Siri, the most coveted application on the iPhone 4s and exclusive only to the same is one that other smartphone users would love to have. It takes the smartphone experience to a whole new level. The iOS 5 download feature actually allows other iPhone users to enjoy what they would like the most; Siri. To be more precise, it is compatible with the iPhone 3GS, the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, ipad, ipad 2 and the 3rd and 4th generation iPod touch players.

With this feature these devices are made much more functional and convenient for the user. iOS 5 letsthe user make their phone more user friendly by allowing them to create shortcuts for words that may be constantly misspelt or mistyped for instance. The shortcuts provide options each time the word typed in is relevant toit. This feature also allows the user to assign specific vibrations to specific users when they need to keep their phones on silent mode during a meeting or conference. With this provision, one can always excuse themselves and receive the call elsewhere without causing any kind of distraction. A little mischief with friends and family members is also possible with the iOS 5. By creating shortcuts to bizarre and unexpected words, one can spook out their friends quite sufficiently.

Apple Inc If The New iPad Is Hot What Do You Call Macbook Pro

THE HEAT GENERATED BY CONSUMER REPORTS' THERMAL TEST IS LIKELY TO DISSIPATE QUICKLY

Source: Consumer Reports

Mike Daisey owes Consumer Reports' Donna Tapellini a thank-you note for diverting attention -- at least briefly -- from his malfeasances with her preliminary report on the new iPad.

CR engineers discovered -- and on Tuesday Tapellini reported -- that playing Infinity Blade II for 45 uninterrupted minutes made the new device up to to 13 degrees F "hotter" (her word) than a similarly stressed iPad 2.

The memory of Antennagate -- the flap that CR created and perpetuated with its several reviews of the iPhone 4 -- was too strong. Legions of Apple (AAPL) loyalists spent much of Tuesday with their knickers in a Tapellini twist.

Hot, of course, is a relative term. Where, we ask, were CR's thermal imaging devices when its engineers tested the latest crop of MacBook Pros, computers whose CPUs during ordinary operation have been known to top 185 degrees F?

The word "hot" doesn't appear in any of CR's current MacBook reviews. I checked.

As someone who spends most of his working days with a scalding 15-inch MacBook Pro on his lap, I think the proper term for what the new iPad gets is "warm."

We note that temperature doesn't come up in either the glowing first-look review that Talellini co-authored last Friday ("The new iPad is shaping up as the best tablet yet") or the complimentary video that electronics editor Paul Reynolds posted on the Consumer Reports website. That's as it should be.

The iPhone 3gs Has Been Out

It has been more than 30 days since the iPhone 3GS has been out which means that you can now cancel your AT&T contract and still keep your phone if you purchased it on launch day, June 19th. The total price after paying the ETF is slighty less than 550 and that includes one month of service. Cancelling your conract is cheaper than buying an iPhone 3GS at the "No Commitment" price which costs 599 plus tax. If you want to cancel your contract make sure that you call after 30 days otherwise they will intsruct you to return your iPhone. As for me, I just cancelled my iPhone's AT&T contract today. Now I can contine to use my iPhone 3GS on T-Mobile's network. Have you already cancelled your contract with AT&T or are planning to? Post a comment if you are planning to cancel or have already done so.

iPhone How To Purchase Apps And Games On Your New iPad

Now that you've got your new iPad in hand and it's been set up just the way you want it, it's time to get to find some great apps and games from the App Store. If you're new to iPad, no worries. We'll have you flinging birds, finger painting with productivity, slicing fruit, and making the perfect pictures in no time.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD AN APP OR GAME

* First thing you'll need to do is pop into the App Store App from your iPad.
* You'll notice a long list of tabs along the bottom. This is where you can browse through featured apps, top charts, and more. You can also use Genius to find new apps that may interest you. The App Store will pull up apps it thinks you'll like based on what you've already got installed. If you know the app you're looking for by name, you can also search for it in the upper right hand corner.
* If you find an app you'd like to take a better look at, just tap its icon. You'll now see a description of the app as well as screenshots.
* To buy the app, tap the price. It will then turn into a "Buy App" button. Tap it once more to purchase it.
* You'll be asked to type in the password for your iTunes ID. Type it in and click ok.

That's pretty much all there is to it. You're app will begin downloading and show up on your homescreen. Once it's done you'll be able to tap it to launch it.

HOW TO TURN ON AUTOMATIC DOWNLOADS

If you've got multiple iOS devices, namely an iPad "and" and iPhone or iPod touch, you'll be able to use universal applications on both without purchasing them again as long as you're signed into the same iTunes account on both.

There's actually a very easy way to set your devices up to keep your apps in sync. If you'd like the same apps to install on all your compatible iOS devices, you can enable automatic downloads inside settings.

* From the homescreen of your iPad, tap your SETTINGS icon.
* Now tap STORE.
* From here you can choose to turn automatic downloads on for music, apps, books, and any magazines you are subscribed to. Just toggle them on or off for the items you'd like to sync across your devices.

That's all there is to it. If you're looking for all the best apps and games to download, hit the app reviews link below. Now get to downloading!
