Is White Iphone 4 Canceled

Today we reported that Apple has announced that the White iPhone 4 is delayed until spring next year. But now rumors are there that Apple has cancelled the release of White iPhone 4 and yet has revealed the information. The report has come from internal sources from BGR that Apple has no plans to release the White iPhone 4. They exactly state that: According to a previous source of ours, we have been told that Apple in fact has no plans to release the white model iPhone 4. Our source hypothesizes another “delay” communicated around March leading us into an iPhone 5 release time-frame in June / July. Today some new rumors were emerging stating “the light leaking into the iPhone and affecting the performance of the device’s camera” as the delay cause. Now BGR also reports that there is something other than a manufacturing issue for the delay in the model to release and Apple is completely dismissing the iPhone 4 White models. This seems to be true, as Apple is announcing delay again and again. And in June / July Apple will also come up with iPhone 5. Of course, if you have White iPhone 5 in front, why would one buy White iPhone 4? Hope the White iPhone 5 is free from all such issues. Apple Yet To Release White Iphone 4

Bad news for those Apple fans who have been eagerly awaiting the white version of the latest iPhone. The iPhone has been selling really well since its release. It has also helped make Apple reach the number two spot when it came to the highest number of phones shipped this year alone. Those who would like to have the Apple iPhone 4 in white will apparently have to wait until spring next year, which is a lot more waiting time than they would have hoped for. The white iPhone 4 was supposed to be unveiled back then in June, but Apple postponed it until the end of July. Come the end of July, it was rumored that Apple wouldn’t show the device until later this year so Apple fans had to wait some more. Now as reported above, Apple will reportedly unveil the white iPhone 4 early next year. Next year is only two months away, but these two months will seem even longer for those who are eagerly awaiting their white iPhone 4. According to several sources, Apple can’t seem to handle the high demand for the phone, which is why the brand is rather concentrating on the usual Apple iPhone 4 phones rather than manufacturing new color versions. Independent developer Buddy Bergman today released version 1.0 of a new app called The Language Buddy that provides a simple interface to enter in a word or short phrase in your native language along with a Romanized “sounds like” spelling for another language. Add that you can also assign photos and audio clips The Language Buddy provides an easy way for you to manage new words and phrases as you make your travels to far off or local lands. If you find yourself taking a vacation to a far off land and you don’t have time to learn the their language by heart then this app does the next best thing. You can enter in words in your native language, typically English, but it can be any language, and you also enter in the foreign language Romanized “sounds like” spelling. Now you have an easy way to reference that word again in the future. Plus, you can assign pictures and audio clips to those entries! Lets say you are in South Korea and you go to a restaurant. You want to remember the name of the food you ate so you open up the Language Buddy and take a picture of your meal and enter the name of it plus take a picture and record an audio clip of how to properly pronounce that dish. Now you have reference to that picture anytime you think back wondering what it was that you had that one time.

White Iphone 4 Delay Might Be Due To Antenna Fixing

Arkhippo Concept Makes The Iphone Fat

You can’t do that with the iPhone unless you have a really flexible neck. A new case concept for the iPhone has surfaced called the Arkhippo. The case makes the iPhone majorly fat. The upside is you could probably comfortable hold the phone between your cheek and shoulder with the case on the iPhone. The case has an angled back and bottom that is designed to let you stand the iPhone up or sit it in landscape mode. The concept measures 170mm H x 83mm W x 50mm D and is made from a material similar to that of Crocs shoes. I don’t think you could carry the phone in your pocket if you use this case.

Iphone 4 Antenna Drops Signal 90 Percent On Contact

The German organization doesn’t specify which two rival handsets were tested but recalls that, while a decrease in signal was observed when their antenna was held, the most it could record was a 25-percent loss. As with Consumer Reports, the company suggests a length of tape placed over the iPhone 4?s antenna bridge as a temporary solution until a free iPhone 4 case arrives. Stiftung Warentest’s results highlight another issue with smartphone signal strength, one that in fact Apple itself has identified: with no standardized way of displaying strength in bars, it’s hard for users to know whether what’s indicated on their screen means they’ll be able to place a call successfully or not. Apple Manager Arrested For Kickbacks Related To Ipod And Iphone Accessories

Devine and Andrew Ang from Singapore were both named in a 23-count federal indictment for wire fraud, money laundering, and kickbacks. The scheme the pair of men was involved in included a chain of US and foreign bank accounts and a front company that received payments. The payments allegedly totaled more than a million dollars. Devine used his position at Apple to get inside information that he sent to Apple suppliers including Ang that was then used by the companies to negotiate favorable deals with Apple. In exchange for the information Devine and Ang shared portions of the kickbacks. Devine allegedly received kickback payments directly when traveling in Asia as well. Devine is being sued by Apple separately from the criminal case the FBI and IRS are bringing against him.

iPhone Car Mount And Hands Free Kit

I just installed my iPhone in my Mazda 3. I used a leather wrapped mount from Kuda. On the kuda is just an adjustable quick mount that holds the iPhone securely. The power comes from a Belkin charger. This charger also has a line out connection coming out at the 12v plug. My car has a built in "line in" mini jack . I have a cable from the belkin plug into my line in. All the wires are hidden except the last 8" which attaches to my phone. The hands free kit is a Motorola that I've had since my previous car. It works very well with the iPhone. I don't use the voice commands very much since the iPhone is only a touch away, but it works well when needed. I think it looks nice, it certainly works very well (excuse the dirty car on photo!) A few more random thoughts: The Belkin has a built in pre amp which allows you to adjust the gain into your factory setup. When the iPhone is in iPod mode, the screen stays active.... it won't go into black screen sleep mode. The Kuda mounts are VERY WELL MADE. Installation took about 10 Minutes. They are leather wrapped and available for many different vehicle apps. If you have a nice vehicle and don't want to make it look cheap or messy with one of those suction cup or sticky tape mounts, look into this. The mount can be removed without any evidence that it was ever there.

According to USBfever, you can simply pick the correct card from the SIM Applications menu in the iPhone 4?s settings, and after a minute or two it flicks over. Using Sat Nav On The iPhone 3g And iPhone 3gs

Since the iPhone 3G launched last year with built in GPS and the new iPhone 3GS launch this year, people have been calling out for a proper Satellite Navigation Application for it. Well, after a long wait, iPhone OS 3.0 finally provides support for turn-by-turn navigation. TomTom were the first company to announce a ‘proper’ Sat Nav solution for the iPhone at last months Apple Developers Conference. TomTom demonstrated the software and introduced the TomTom Cradle – an optional extra to help you get the most out of their mapping software, but they didn’t announce any pricing or release dates. This week though saw the release of the first two Sat Nav apps, and surprisingly TomTom weren’t one of them! First to launch were Navigon - MobileNavigator: Europe came first, with MobileNavigator: British Isles appearing in the App Store this morning. (Both are available now from iTunes and clicking the links will launch iTunes and take you directly to the App Store). Second to release a full turn by turn App is Mobile Maps 2009 by Sygic. From the reviews it’s getting, it’s a better option than Navigon as it has a few more features such as full postcode search. Depending on your budget and what you want to achieve in your car, there are a number of options available: 1. iPhone Rotating Car Holder. If you don’t want to break the bank and just want a simple, no fuss solution, then you’ll need to get yourself an iPhone 3G Car Holder and iPhone Car Charger. The holder simply fixes to your windscreen using a suction cup and can be used in either landscape or portrait mode. 2. Brodit Active Holder for iPhone 3GS. If you don’t like having things stuck to your window or the tell tale circle on the glass that says you have a Sat Nav system, then you should also consider a Brodit Active Holder for the iPhone 3GS. These are phone specific cradles that will hold your iPhone securely and have a car charger wired into them, so there is no need to fiddle with cables. They are made from a strong ABS plastic and have a soft touch coating to prevent your phone from getting scratched as you use the holder. You can use your iPhone in both landscape and portrait modes as these holders have a rotating bracket. Brodit Active holders are designed to be screwed onto your dashboard, although if you don’t fancy doing this you can use a Brodit Pro Clip. The suction mount can be fixed to either your windscreen or dashboard (using a fixing plate) and can be rotated for use in either landscape or portrait mode. As well as holding your iPhone, the TomTom Car Kit will boost your GPS signal for improved tracking; it has an FM Transmitter that allows you to play music from your phone through your stereo speakers, and a built in loudspeaker for the voice navigation while you’re driving. Music Streaming, Hands-Free Calling and Navigation If you really want to get the best from your iPhone and want an in car set up that can be used with your iPhone 3G / 3GS for handling calls, music and navigation there are a number of Plug & Play and professionally installed options available. There are a few iPhone 3GS Plug & Play Car Kits that will work with the iPhone 3G, and the Jabra SP700 is one of the best. The Jabra SP700 is a self install Bluetooth Car Kit that simply clips to the sun visor of your car and pairs to your iPhone using Bluetooth. The SP700 supports the A2DP profile, which means that you can stream your music to it over Bluetooth and listen to it either using the speaker in the SP700 or you can stream the music from the SP700 to your car stereo speakers using its built in FM Transmitter, in a similar way to how the TomTom car kit works. When you use the Sat Nav app on your iPhone, any voice commands will also be played through your car stereo speakers so you shouldn’t ever miss any directions. The battery life of the SP700 is upto 14 hours talk time and 250 hours stand by. Streaming using Bluetooth can be quite a drain on the battery, especially if you are using Sat Nav at the same time, you will almost certainly need a car charger and a way of mounting the phone in the car. Personally I’d recommend using a Brodit Active holder for iPhone 3G and a vehicle specific ProClip. Fully Integrated to your Car If you want a more permanent solution or one where you don’t need to recharge the handsfree unit, then the iPhone 3GS fully fitted Car Kit will be your best bet. I’ve tried most of these kits out with the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3GS, and by far the best option here is one of the Parrot MKi Car Kits. Parrot only make Bluetooth accessories and because of that they make sure that every phone works brilliantly with their car kits. There are three kits in the MKi range, but the Parrot MKi9000 for iPhone 3GS is your best bet, mainly because you don’t need an external screen. You can play music from your phone through the MKi9000 either by connecting the Dock Connector (which will also charge your phone) or you can stream it using Bluetooth. The Mki9000 will synchronise with your phone book, and supports voice dialing – even on the iPhone 3G. There is also a small remote that you can attach to your dash or steering wheel to control your music (Play/Pause and Volume only when streaming using Bluetooth). When you use Sat Nav on your phone, voice instructions come through your car stereo clearly, and if music is playing at the same time, it briefly mutes out the music so that you don’t miss any directions. You won’t need to buy a car charger for your iPhone as this kit will charge your iPhone when you connect the dock cable, but you will still need a holder for your iPhone 3GS. Depending on how this kit is installed into your car, you may find that the charging cable may not be able to reach the windscreen, so a dashboard holder such as the Brodit Pass through Holder for iPhone 3G & 3GS will be a better option. It’s made from the same soft touch plastic as the Brodit Active Holder, but instead of having a car charger attached, it has a Dock Connector on the bottom so you can leave the charging cable connected permanently.
