JBL launches two new On Stage iPod/iPhone speaker docking stations, the On Stage IV and On Stage Micro III. These speaker docks play your iPod or iPhone and will charge the docked device. They also connect directly to iTunes on Mac or PC via USB 2.0. The On Stage IV features four aluminum-domed Odyssey transducers for rich and clear sound while the On Stage Micro III, the successor to the Micro II, is equipped with two Odyssey transducers. They feature OCT (Optimized Compression Topology) a proprietary compression technology, ensuring clean, accurate sound at high output levels; COE (Computer-Optimized Equalization) for proper equalization; and a slipstream port design to optimizes bass output while minimizing distortion. It uses GPS data from your iPhone to work out which frequencies are unused where you are and then suggests a frequency for you to tune your stereo in to. If you don’t like the idea of it using your location the Belkin Tunecast Auto with ClearScan doesn’t use an app or GPS – Instead it scans the airwaves to find a clear frequency. 5. Jabra Cruiser The Jabra Cruiser is a small, slim portable car kit that combines an FM transmitter with a Bluetooth Car Kit. The Jabra Cruiser simply clips to the sun visor of your car and pairs to your iPhone or 2nd generation iPod touch using Bluetooth. The Cruiser supports both the A2DP and AVRCP profiles which means that you can stream your music to it over Bluetooth for playback either through the built in speaker or through your car stereo using it’s built in FM Transmitter. The iPhone and iPod touch don’t fully support AVRCP, but you can still play/ pause your music using the play controls on the front of the Cruiser. Today we reported that Apple has announced that the White iPhone 4 is delayed until spring next year. But now rumors are there that Apple has cancelled the release of White iPhone 4 and yet has revealed the information. The report has come from internal sources from BGR that Apple has no plans to release the White iPhone 4. They exactly state that: According to a previous source of ours, we have been told that Apple in fact has no plans to release the white model iPhone 4. Our source hypothesizes another “delay” communicated around March leading us into an iPhone 5 release time-frame in June / July. Today some new rumors were emerging stating “the light leaking into the iPhone and affecting the performance of the device’s camera” as the delay cause. Now BGR also reports that there is something other than a manufacturing issue for the delay in the model to release and Apple is completely dismissing the iPhone 4 White models. This seems to be true, as Apple is announcing delay again and again. And in June / July Apple will also come up with iPhone 5. White Iphone 4 Delayed Due To Proximity Sensor

There are many rumors for the delay for White iPhone 4 to be available. Now, the information is coming that the cause behind White iPhone 4 is due to malfunctioning of its proximity sensor. The proximity sensor of White iPhone 4 was able to transmit signal but was not able to receive them properly. It is being fixed now and White iPhone 4 is anticipated to be available by year end before Christmas. The story goes like this. Initially, the White iPhone 4 didn’t allow infrared sensor to transmit and receive signal properly. So, designers decided to apply small holes on top of iPhone 4, just above the speaker. Soon it was realized that the holes can be seen clearly from the sensor and they decided to apply a metallic film which reproduced the same color of the edges of the iPhone. In initial testing it was discovered that this film which is opaque from front and metallic from back can transmit signal properly. But it was bit late when they discovered that there was problem in receiving signals which led to proximity sensor malfunctioning and the production has to be postponed to a later date. It is also being informed that the engineers have found the solution and tested successfully by keeping the back of the film opaque and front is formed by many small metal dots which allow sending and receiving signals correctly. Earlier there have been many causes behind White iPhone 4 including, the antennagate issue, and screen color issue. Arkhippo Concept Makes The Iphone Fat

You can’t do that with the iPhone unless you have a really flexible neck. A new case concept for the iPhone has surfaced called the Arkhippo. The case makes the iPhone majorly fat. The upside is you could probably comfortable hold the phone between your cheek and shoulder with the case on the iPhone. The case has an angled back and bottom that is designed to let you stand the iPhone up or sit it in landscape mode. The concept measures 170mm H x 83mm W x 50mm D and is made from a material similar to that of Crocs shoes. I don’t think you could carry the phone in your pocket if you use this case.

Iphone 4 Antenna Drops Signal 90 Percent On Contact

The German organization doesn’t specify which two rival handsets were tested but recalls that, while a decrease in signal was observed when their antenna was held, the most it could record was a 25-percent loss. As with Consumer Reports, the company suggests a length of tape placed over the iPhone 4?s antenna bridge as a temporary solution until a free iPhone 4 case arrives. Stiftung Warentest’s results highlight another issue with smartphone signal strength, one that in fact Apple itself has identified: with no standardized way of displaying strength in bars, it’s hard for users to know whether what’s indicated on their screen means they’ll be able to place a call successfully or not. Apple Manager Arrested For Kickbacks Related To Ipod And Iphone Accessories

Devine and Andrew Ang from Singapore were both named in a 23-count federal indictment for wire fraud, money laundering, and kickbacks. The scheme the pair of men was involved in included a chain of US and foreign bank accounts and a front company that received payments. The payments allegedly totaled more than a million dollars. Devine used his position at Apple to get inside information that he sent to Apple suppliers including Ang that was then used by the companies to negotiate favorable deals with Apple. In exchange for the information Devine and Ang shared portions of the kickbacks. Devine allegedly received kickback payments directly when traveling in Asia as well. Devine is being sued by Apple separately from the criminal case the FBI and IRS are bringing against him.
